Susan G. Komen for the Cure

During Susan G. Komen’s battle against breast cancer, she selflessly spent much of her time thinking about ways to make life better for other women fighting the disease.  Susan’s sister, Nancy G. Brinker, promised to further the quest to end breast cancer and started Susan G. Komen for the Cure, the global leader in the breast cancer movement.

Susan G. Komen for the cure has invested an amazing $1.9 billion since it’s 1982 inception.  The organization is known for its grass roots campaigns and events including the flagship Race for the Cure.
