Frequently Asked Questions

1.)  What is helpingly?

helpingly is a service that donates 2% of all of your online shopping purchases to the charity of your choice.

Let’s say for example you are about to buy a new set of kitchenware for $500 from Amazon.com.  Simply make the purchase after logging into your helpingly account, and we’ll donate $10 to the charity of your choice!

2.)  Does this cost me anything?

Nope!  helpingly is a completely free service.  Our donations do not add any additional fees whatsoever to your online shopping.

3.)  What’s the catch?

No catch!  helpingly has advertising relationships with a variety of retailers that enable us to donate a portion of the commission from our users’ orders to charity.  The commission helpingly receives varies by retailer and purchase, but over half of your commission will always go directly to your designated charity.  We donate either 2% of your purchase, or half of the commission helpingly receives, whichever is greater.

4.)  How do I know my selected charity is actually getting the money?

As soon as we receive confirmation of your online shopping order, we make a unique deposit of 2% of the order to your chosen charity.  We are happy to make the donation anonymously, in your name, or in honor of anyone you choose to designate.

Once the charity processes your donation, we forward you the official donation receipt with easily verifiable donation information.

5.) How do I get started?

Using helpingly is easy; create an account to get started.
